Arizona, the United States, and the world are aging. By 2035, the graying of America will be inescapable when, for the first time in our country’s history, more people will be over 65 than under 18. Projections indicate 200 million Americans will be aging during the 21st century.

Declining fertility, increasing longevity, and the progression of large generational groups to the older ages brings sweeping changes in population needs and capacities. This aging phenomenon presents significant challenges that people, industries, organizations, and governments must address. To guarantee a safe, dignified and rewarding life for America’s aging populations, it is essential to have synergistic collaboration amongst local, state, and federal governments as well as urban and rural communities, businesses, organizations, and the American people themselves.

This inaugural public event is funded by corporate, business, and community sponsors who recognize the urgent need to fight the discrimination of ageism, understand the value of aging adults to America’s way of life, and join in support of addressing unprecedented challenges in today’s digital society.

Sponsorship opportunities will be posted soon. Check back for updates.
